We worked from the planning consent that the Client had obtained, obtained building regulations approval, and completed detail design, of this challenging design, whose roof slopes inwards and rises as it rotates through 270 degrees. Only Advanced Foundation Technology could have achieved an insulated raft foundation, and Touchwood Homes a frame, of such precision.
The interior is stunning. The volume is ecclesiastical in its proportions and the expansion of the space as it turns and wraps around the central courtyard is beguiling.
