The rear addition of this terraced house was repaired, remodelled and re-roofed, to provide an improved bathroom, separate (and dramatically skylit) WC and a shower in the existing bedroom, daylight to the landing and a sedum roof. Brickwork and structural repairs, designed by engineer Jeffery Smith, were required as opening up revealed a chimney unsupported at ground floor ceiling level. Completed in 2008.
